WAHOOS Adult Swim 2026 - We're Back. Are You? 🏊

Hi everyone,

It's Brad and Alicia here - and yes, we are doing this again.

We had such a great time last season, and we are not about to let that energy go to waste. The 2026 WSRC Adult Swim Team is officially coming together, and we want YOU back in the water with us.

Here is what you need to know:

🍺 First things first - league-wide happy hour! Before we even get in the pool, let's kick things off the right way. The Adult Swim league is hosting a social at Old Mecklenburg Brewery (OMB) at Ballantyne Bowl on Wednesday, May 14th at 5:30PM. Come meet (or re-meet!) swimmers from across the league, grab a cold one, and get excited for the season.

🏊 Season details:

  • First practice: Monday, June 8 (tentative) - 7 or 7:30AM starting time
  • Debbie Miller clinics begin: Monday, June 15 - Alicia is also back to get us all in shape, and Debbie is going to make sure we actually know what we are doing in the water every Monday 😄
  • Home meet: July 21 at WSRC
  • Away meets: July 1 @ Hunter Oaks, July 7 @ Brandon Oaks, August 12 (location TBD)
  • Championships: August 18 (tentative)

👙 Swimsuit fitting - Saturday, May 16, 10AM–Noon at WSRC This is how Brad got roped into all of this in the first place. Come to the club on May 16th, try on your suit, and make it official. All of you can get your swimsuits there!

And if you know someone who is on the fence - a neighbor, a friend, someone who keeps saying "I should really not do that but..." - send them our way! We are happy to reach out personally to anyone who might need a little nudge to make it happen.

Let's make 2026 even better than last year.
